TOURS TO LA GALAXY AND US COLLEGE TRIALS EACH YEAR

Each year AFS takes squads to LA Galaxy and College trials, this is one of the most effective ways to showcase skill and talent in front of international clubs and colleges.

ACG Football Institute

ACG Football Institute is an academy that focuses on skills and fitness development of football players from age 4 to 18. These programs have been developed by highly qualified coaches and the new programs include components from USA super club, LA Galaxy.

Australian Football Scouts (AFS) is a holistc Football program that provides players of all ages and genre to learn, enhance and develop their skills. Australian Football Scouts is exactly waht the name suggests Scouts of Australian Football (Soccer) players. AFS has an alliance with US Super Club, LA Galaxy and through its tours provides US Scouts from the Galaxy to see Australian playersand have the added bonus of Player Profiles from AFS Coaching Director with a recommendation. AFS provides the development programs to ACG Football Institute, where sessions are held outside club and rep football committments, providing an additional edge to player performance.

ACG Football Institute

ACG Juniors

Boys & Girls - Age 4 to 7

ACG Juniors is a holistic development program aimed at young boys and girls aged 4 to 7 This program is designed to help each player to develop football skills, team play, basic rules and all other skill sets to assist with the players getting even more enjoyment every time they play the game. ACG Football Institute is an organisation dedicated to developing football skills, improving fitness, hand eye coordination and providing a better platform for all our players both Girls and Boys.Sessions are held weekday afternoons working in with school terms.The ACG Junior program will Assist each individual to achieve a variety of development goalsPrepare players to enter or enhance team play.Develop physical abilities and understand game play.

ACG Pre Career

Boys & Girls - Age 7 - 10

ACG Pre-Career pathway program is designed to ensure players are well prepared to enter the world of representative football at the age of 11. ACG Football Institute prides itself on our impressive success rate of players moving from local club football into Representative football, the program is also designed to ensure players are ready to move into the ACG Junior Career Pathway Program which leads to International trials with high profile professional football clubs. The ACG Pre-Career Pathway program will - Improve players Technical and game play abilities, improve speed and agility, prepare players for Representative Football trials Automatic selection into the ACG Junior Career Pathway.Sessions are held weekday afternoons working in with school terms.

ACG Junior Career

Career Program - Age 11 - 14

ACG Junior Career Pathway program is a development program aimed at improving talented young boys and girls to either maintain their representative football careers or to enhance their chances of making into a youth league football club. The Junior Career Pathway program starts preparing players for life as a Pro football player with individual goal setting, home training programs, elite morning sessions and International football trials with high profile Professional Football Clubs. This program also includes player profiles including DVDs which will be sent to all our contacts in Australia and Internationally as well as our very own licensed FIFA Football Agent.The ACG Junior Career Pathway Program will- Improve all technical and game play skill sets, improve core strength, speed and agility and start the players mind sets of how to be a professional footballer Individual Player profiles, goal settings and home training programs.Automatic selection into the ACG Career Pathway ProgramSessions are held weekday mornings working in with school terms.

ACG Senior Career

Senior Program - Age 15 - 20

The ACG Senior Career Pathway program is designed to take players to the next level of Professional Football. With your very own Player Manager and Licensed FIFA Agent you will have every opportunity, with a large variety of pathways including Professional Football clubs in Australia, USA and Europe as well as the USA College Scholarship program. With our current pathway partners every player will be given the chance to proceed into a Career within the football world.The ACG Senior Career Pathway program will provide your very own Player Manager,offering professional services of our own Licensed FIFA Football Agent connecting all players with our pathway partners offering USA College Scholarship programs. Attending the Invitational only College Showcase automatic selection for all ACG National and International trials/toursSessions are held weekday mornings working in with school terms.

USA Tours

LA Galaxy Tours support our Career Pathway Programs by assisting players to witness Professional Football first hand. Players that visit the LA Galaxys Home Depot Centre have the opportunity to take part and live as a Professional Footballer feeling the demands in training, games and recovery sessions that Professional Footballers live every day. The highest level of training and playing facilities and qualified coaching staff will open players eyes and introduce them to life as a footballer. This gives players a new desire; passion and commitment to not only improve themselves but to push forward in becoming a Professional Footballer. USA College Showcase tours are another of our great pathways helping players to earn College Scholarships whilst playing high level football. The College Showcase is by invitation only and is run every December in Texas. Over 300 College coaches and scouts attend this 3 day extravaganza. Players wishing to attend this showcase need to receive an invitation from the Australian Football Scouts, Football Director, who will also assist with preparations including player profiles which will be sent directly to all attending College coaches.

ACG Head Coach appoint director of Youth FootballAllan Tasses, Head coach of ACG Football Institute has been appointed to Director of Youth Football at the Schofields Scorpions Football Club in Western Sydney. The appointment is part of rebuilding program that will see the privately owned traditional football club grow into a major force in NSW Football in the coming years.AFS aligns with LA Galaxy AcademyAustralian Football Scouts has recently aligned its training programs with that of LA Galaxy Academy. This is the only program of its kind in Australia and this is unique to AFS. "We are proud to have the support of LA Galaxy and our ecent tour was a great success and we look forward to taking our younger students in January" explains Director of Coaching, Allan Tasses.AFS in association with Global Sports Tours will be taking ACG Institute student groups to LA Galaxy twice a year. The next tour is in January 2012.School programs a great successJuly school holidays have proved to be a huge success with the local kids. This was a great opportunity for the kids that are not a part of the ACG program to experience how they can develop their skills and make new friends at the same time.
ACG Students to trial at USA College trials in DecemberAFS will be taking a group of teenage students from the ACG Football Institute to the annual US College Trials in Dallas in December. Through our connections in the USA we have been able to secure trialling positions for our students. They will be playing with the LA Galaxy associated squad Colorado Rush and the Canadian National Team. A great experience and have the opportunity of a lifetime to showcase their ability in front of the USA's top college football coaches.Post season the best time to trainNow the Football season is over, it is the perfect time to tune those skills.
